Day 9 – 07/10/22 – I Should Patent This!

This morning I got up and checked my foot. I can’t believe how well this castor oil works! It’s helping to heal my blisters two to three times faster than what I read was the usual duration time to heal.

Tom and I walked to the cafe and ate a hearty breakfast, then headed to the coffee shop to grab another cup of joe. I then walked over to Ace Hardware. I was on a mission to create something that would attach my Gimbal to the chest plate I already had. When I tried to use it before, the phone didn’t remain stable so I had to end up carrying it in my hand.

This Ace Hardware is HUGE!!! I spent hours walking up and down the aisles searching for possible solutions and thought I found the perfect things. Then, when walking down another aisle, something caught my eye. It was a metal canope or tent pole connecter. Yup, this was even better than the first things I found. The Gimbal fits perfectly and securely into it and the weight is distributed evenly while resting on my midsection. I got some white electrical tape to wrap around it to keep it cool from the effects of the hot sun. It works perfectly! I should patent this!

The attachment I created to hold my Gimbal.

With all of the walking I did today, I was grateful that I had little to no pain from the blisters. I’ll continue with the current regimen since it’s working wonders.

I was able to work with the team to get some more behind the scenes work done for the walk.

All in all, it was a great day! I can’t wait to start the walk again. By the way things are going, I have a feeling it will be sooner rather than later. I’ll know better in the morning once I see how the treatment works tonight.

See you all next time. God Bless America!

  1. So So glad you’re healing is progressing!
Glad you’ve found something to cover your foot in the heal and protect the skin!

  2. Hope some company will donate some good shoes for you! My cousin hiked the Appalachian trail and he had a shoe company donated shoes for him.

  3. Hello Ron, TheCloudTalker here (Richard). glad to see your healing well. when the blister first showed up my heart sank, but you handled it well. really glad you have this blog. I got worried when the live stream wasn’t there. I’ve been busy spreading the word. I hope to bring more to the live panel when you are walking. also I keep saying 1-million-man march! It will be a dream come true if we can fill the National Mall when you walk in. with all the time I have been spending on the movement I am realizing how big a task you have taken on, at first I only saw the long walk, now I see how much more it takes.
    Thank you Grey Wolf!
No matter how many others show up, I will be walking with you when you walk into DC.
